Buerger, Moseley & Carson, PLC is one of the oldest law firms in Williamson County, Tennessee. Since its inception in 1973, the firm has represented businesses, governmental entities, health care organizations and other clients in legal matters ranging from business formation to litigation.

The firm’s health care practice began in 1978 with the representation of the local hospital. Since that time the practice has grown to representing approximately 600 medical care facilities across the country. The firm currently works with Community Health Systems, LifePoint Health, Quorum Health Corporation, Steward Health Care System, Prime Healthcare, Parkridge Health System, Erlanger Health System and others while continuing to represent Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee and other individual non-profit and governmental facilities. While the majority of its health care practice consists of advising hospitals, the firm also provides counsel to ambulatory surgery centers, home health agencies and other entities. The firm offers operational advice and services on legal issues that are unique to health care organizations and provides litigation services related to medical malpractice, credentialing and other issues.

Buerger, Moseley & Carson has served as counsel for Williamson County, Tennessee for almost forty years. The firm also represents other public sector entities, including the Industrial Development Board of Williamson County, Tennessee, and first responder organizations, utility districts, and volunteer fire departments across the state. The firm defends governmental entities in litigation including tort, employment, and constitutional law actions and provides daily advice on a variety of operational issues ranging from contracts to codes compliance issues.
